Top 6 Apps For Improved Shopify Conversions

If you have a Shopify store, you understand that using apps will help you boost conversions and increase sales throughout time. In this blog post, I’ve shown you the top 6 apps that we use on virtually almost all of our Shopify stores to increase sales and customer satisfaction. Like I mentioned in my video, there are some apps that might hurt conversions and some apps that will help conversions, so always split test and find the best ones that are working for you. If you don’t know which apps are going to convert for you, then you will need to find out yourself and test them on your store first before getting started.

Here are the top 6 apps which you can use on your stores TODAY :

Bulk Discounts – This app allows you to generate bulk discount codes or single one time codes for your customers. This works really well if you are planning on offering discount opportunities for certain holidays / one time discounts / etc.  You could also offer codes

Klaviyo Email Marketing for Shopify – Very similar to other email marketing software out there like aweber, mailchimp, getresponse, etc… This software allows you to email your entire list of buyers and subscribers on your Shopify store. You can use this app to promote seasonal discounts, special offers, new products and much more. This ultimately helps you increase sales to your store dramatically all in one shot. You could even do a “free + ship” offer to your entire list and if your list is big enough, literally generate tens and thousands of dollars.

Product Reviews – This is a MUST for social proof and reviews. If you don’t have a review app on your store yet, you absolutely need to have one … and best of all, it’s FREE! You can now build up trust and social proof on your stores by adding this free app and get your customers to post their honest reviews about your products. You will be amazed how much your conversion rates will increase by just using this one software.

Yo – Display Recent Sales in Real Time – This is a neat little app that shows you which products have recently been sold on your store in which also builds up on the social proof aspect. By doing this, you can see a jump in conversions (or a decrease) depending on your audience and how they take it.  If you plan on doing mobile, you can also disable this as well since it does take up a good amount of real estate in the mobile version.  Like I mentioned in my video, always be split testing to find out if this will help or hurt your conversions. We’ve seen that it’s almost ALWAYS helped our store’s conversions.

RetargetApp – This is an awesome app that will create retargeting campaigns on Facebook for you which lets you regain those lost customers who have visited your store but have not purchased … This can also help you increase sales by customers who have already purchased, but have not seen the other products on your store in which they will be retargeted to those products. We’ve seen by spending every $1 with this app, we will gain back $10-$15.  This is an amazing app and if you don’t have it yet, I would highly recommend that you test it out.  You can start small by spending $5 a day or $10 a day depending on how much traffic you are getting on your store currently.

Receiptful – This is a great app to help you send beautiful receipts and abandon cart emails to your customers. Like mentioned in the video, you will want to test this app out in comparison with the Klaviyo app which practically does the same thing, but using different templates. We’ve seen that this app has always helped us retrieve our lost customers and get them buying again. This also helps with getting our customers to buy their second time by using the discount code given to our customers for their second purchase.

I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial on the top 6 apps that we use on our stores.  Feel free to comment, like and share this video! Thanks 🙂
